Downtown Area Plan Community Open House!

We know Downtown San Marcos is an important part of our community’s identity. That’s why this Summer we’ve been working on the creation of a Downtown Area Plan to take a closer look at the community’s vision for it’s future. In June, we hosted a Community Workshop and online survey to gather your input and ideas on key topics in downtown. Join us for an Open House to see the progress made on developing the plan and let us know if we’re on the right track!

We’ve incorporated your input and ideas into key recommendations for topics such as historic and cultural character, multimodal connectivity, public spaces, streetscapes, housing, small businesses, building design, and sustainability. Come explore some ways your ideas are coming to life! The event will include interactive activities, refreshments, games, and giveaways from downtown businesses.
