Downtown Area Plan Community Workshop!
On Wednesday, June 22, Planning & Development Services hosted a community workshop to take a closer look at the community’s vision for it’s future downtown area. We’re happy to report we had approximately 80 attendees!
Prior to the meeting, attendees engaged in a social gathering, interactive activities, and a brief staff presentation. Participants were able to visit a variety of interactive stations on topics related to downtown, including historic and cultural character, multimodal connectivity, public spaces, streetscapes, housing, small businesses, and building design. Community input received will help shape the vision and goals for the downtown area.
